I really feel that the two trails, such as the mountain and sea scenery display window of the Northeast Scenic Area, can get close to the beauty of the mountains and seas in the shortest time!

Nanzishan Mountain overlooks the rocky coast of Nanya in the front and the famous “Golden Ridge” of Banping Mountain in the back. The mountain and sea landscape surrounding Nanzishan Mountain can be regarded as national or world-class!

Due to its geographical location close to Shuijinjiu, this place can be said to be the essence of the northern section of the northeast coast.

The trail is easy to walk, with an altitude of only 196 meters. It takes about half an hour to reach the top from the trailhead. Park your car in the Nanya Fishing Port parking lot, walk to the opposite side, and pass through the Nanya Fishing Village Trail. You can reach the trail entrance after crossing the small bridge over the flowing water.

The total length of the trail is more than 900 meters. The fastest person can reach the top of the mountain in about 40 minutes, and the slow person can reach the top of the mountain in nearly an hour. There are 280 steps. After climbing up, you can enjoy the 360-degree view of the mountains and sea.

As the trail climbs up, the scenery when looking back at the coastline is different, because “the heights are different from near to far.”

The outlook at the top is excellent, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the northeast coast.

Looking to the west, you can have a panoramic view of the 18th floor of the Taijin Copper Smelting Plant, Shuinan Cave, Keelung Mountain, and Shen’ao Cape;

Looking to the east, you can see the beautiful scenery of the headland from Nanya Fishing Port to Bitoujiao; looking to the south and back, you can see the majestic scenery of the large ridgeline of Banping Mountain.

Looking to the north, you can see the endless Pacific Ocean.

Nanya Qiyan, Bitoujiao, Keelung Mountain, Keelung Island, Yinyang Sea landscape, as well as the magnificent mountain scenery of Banping Mountain, Wuer Teapot Mountain, Banpingshan Mountain, Shuinandong Fishing Port and Bitoujiao Fishing Port are all here. The grand appearance makes people forget to leave!

We can visit in summer and winter. Although each has its own style, the miscanthus is still more beautiful in autumn and winter!
