Because I haven’t found any larger drawing paper at the moment,

Because the drawing paper is too large, I need to find a carpenter to customize it.

The general order of drawing Buddha statues is roughly outline drawing on rice paper and pencil > outline drawing with brush > coloring with brush.

In the early drafting stage, you have to be very careful because you have to draw according to the law. There are many parts that cannot be verified, which makes the drawing process very difficult. Therefore, we continue to recite sutras and create works in order to be able to follow the Dharma and allow all tribes to represent the heart of Peacock King Ming.

Be able to integrate interaction into the screen;

Only in this way can we achieve the great freedom desired by Master Ciding.

This process took another nine months to complete the pencil drawing with a length of 200 centimeters and a width of 200 centimeters. It took more than a month of proofreading by various mages before entering the line drawing stage.

The line drawing, which took more than a month to complete, is so careful and precious that it needs to be redrawn if you are not careful;

The strange thing is that when the pencil outline is completed, when the brush goes down to draw the outline, it is found that the brush and pencil are almost in different positions;

Of course this also results in completely different expressions and postures, just like drawing two pictures.

Teacher Yuding said:

The special thing is that the mandala is centered on Peacock King Ming,

It’s like the strongest spotlight shining on the Peacock King,

It has bright spots like a pyramid and slowly fades outward;

My plan is to complete the inner courtyard first > the middle courtyard > the outer courtyard in the order of painting, that is, I plan to complete the sculptures one by one from the inside out.

Later I found that this drawing method encountered a big bottleneck.

Later, Master Ciding gave me some advice,

Don’t distinguish between the king and the protector, don’t be discriminating, don’t respect others, don’t create boundaries,

Because the mandala is one,

Peacock King Ming and all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are one and harmonious.

Enthralling and lifelike

As soon as my mind changed, the mandala in my heart no longer divided into inner, middle and outer courtyards;

There is no distinction in the heart, only a pure heart

So when drawing, paint the parts of the same color together at once,

Afterwards, I discovered that the inner, inner and outer courtyards presented by this method of thinking and thinking

The Dharma protector of Mingwang Bodhisattva is like gathering happily, dancing freely and lifelike, achieving the great freedom required by Master Ciding.

As stated by Teacher Yuding,

Because there was only one Buddha statue painted previously

I don’t know that the key point and the inner meaning of the mandala is to show the unity of the universe, the unity of the true dharma realm;

Being one with the same inner compassion, even the wrathful Vajra statue shows compassion.

Because there are one hundred and fifty-seven statues in the mandala,

I can only open single-digit facial expressions every day,

When you open your face, you will only see the personality of each Bodhisattva protector drawn.

This is like walking into the flow, from a craftsman to a teacher,

We also walked into the sacred mandala of King Maurya.

Of course, the most important first step in opening a face is the face of Peacock Ming, because all Peacock Ming’s mandalas started from Peacock Ming!

For the sake of caution,

Teacher Yuding asked many masters to help inform the face-opening time in advance, and pray for the face-opening together by chanting mantras.

Teacher Yuding is also determined, because origin is very important,

I hope that the face opening will be successful so that there will be no obstacles in the process of spreading the Dharma.

Peacock King Ming’s face turned bright, his hands were shaking but his heart was very peaceful,

At the moment, my mind is as still as water, and not a single thought arises.

After painting the face, Teacher Yuding felt a little disappointed and even wanted to paint it out and start over again, but he was not sure how well he painted it.

Show it to Tainan art teacher Yuding;

The teacher replied that the painting is very good. Seeing the majestic face of Peacock King makes people want to cry, because the statue of mercy has penetrated into the heart.

I looked at Master Ci Ding with uneasiness. Master Ci Ding smiled and said that I had passed the test, and Master Yu Ding felt relieved.

Teacher Yuding talked about early Buddhist statues,

There is only compassion on the surface but it has not penetrated into the heart, and the Peacock King statue in this mandala has already entered into the compassion in the heart.

Teacher Yuding also shared,

Drawing mandalas also taught me to accept the present moment,

Following the present will always be the best arrangement,

Everything is the best arrangement and I accept it as I go,

The things I cared about now were no longer a problem later,

Sometimes we deliberately demand individual perfection,

If a particular individual is too prominent, it will affect the overall situation.

Not as good as the overall beauty presented as a whole,

The true beauty is the harmony of the whole.

Just like Tai Chi culture, it seems contradictory but unified.

In my dream, I once rode a four-wheeled bicycle up a mountain. There was a temple on the mountain, and all the monks in the temple were reciting the Sutra of the Peacock King. There were also voices calling Teacher Yuding to come in quickly.

Due to the extraordinary experience of participating in the painting of the Peacock King Mandala,

It’s like divine help from somewhere;

At different points in the past year or two, friends have given teachers or family members items they will rarely use,

There are big pillows, five quilts, and very thick needles;

I don’t know what these items are used for now,

Later, I was surprised to find that these items had their origins and were of great use in drawing mandalas.

He also gave a lot of help in drawing the Peacock King Mandala one after another!

Although Teacher Yuding had been in Kaicheng Hospital for more than two years in order to hold a solo exhibition;

But when he was painting the Peacock King Mandala, he placed his studio in the study room of his home not far from Chengbieyuan.

Just because of the convenience in drawing time,

You can work and rest more freely without being disturbed.

Because the mandala drawing paper was too big, Teacher Yuding was given a large pillow by a friend and placed it on a ladder frame, so that he could draw the mandala in a respectful manner as if his five bodies were facing the ground.

In this way, Teacher Yuding has only been painting mandalas with sincerity and concentration for two years, and has not accepted other Buddhist paintings;

In the past two years, I have only recited and recited the Peacock Ming King Mantra with all my heart and asked for corresponding protection and induction.

This is the waiting body of the Great Sun Tathagata!

The auspicious time was chosen when the masters invited Peacock King Mandala back to Kaicheng Temple,

My home was miraculously filled with fragrance, and it didn’t rain during the transportation in rainy Yilan.

Teacher Yuding completed the painting of King Peacock and placed it in the secret altar of King Peacock on the 3F of Kaicheng Villa, as shown in the picture.

“The Ritual of the Peacock King” says: “If there are all the disasters in the world, weapons, famine, drought and epidemics, four hundred and four illnesses, sorrows, and strife, and eighty-four thousand ghosts and monsters that annoy sentient beings… if they are transformed according to this method… By reading this sutra, all disasters will be eliminated and all wishes will be fulfilled.”

 In addition, the end of this sutra says: “If you read and recite this sutra during a drought or a rainy season, the dragons will be happy. If the rain stops, it will clear up. If there is an extreme drought, it will rain. Those who seek will be satisfied at will. ”

When Master Ciding asked more than 20 people to recreate the mandala of Matsuo Temple in Japan more than 20 years ago,

When Teacher Yuding agreed to start drawing the Peacock King Mandala three years ago,

The Peacock King Mandala drawn by Teacher Yuding is 200×200 and placed in the Peacock King Secret Altar on the 3F of Kaicheng Villa;

Forgive all ties. Follow the method of making offerings as mentioned above. Make offerings to the World Honored Medicine Master Glazed Light Tathagata. From this good root. Because of the power of the Tathagata’s original vow. Make the country’s borders safe and secure. When the wind and rain are favorable, the crops are ripe. All sentient beings are free from illness and happy. in his country. There are no violent and evil gods such as Yakshas. Annoying people. All evil aspects will disappear. The “popular disease and disaster” mentioned in the scriptures refer to infectious diseases such as SARS and the new coronavirus. The “invasion and oppression by other countries” refers to the threat of armed invasion and annexation by powerful countries. The “rebellion against one’s own territory” refers to domestic rebels. When a military coup is launched, “the stars become strangely troubled”, it means that disaster stars and evil stars will come, affecting the earth’s magnetic field and triggering disasters for all living beings.

The Medicine Buddha who removes evil is the Tathagata of Radiant Light,

When reciting the Dharani mantra to eliminate disasters and auspiciousness:

I will now tell you the Dharani method of blazing light and great power to eliminate disasters, as taught by the Tathagata King Shara in the past. (Original) Those who accept, uphold, read and recite this Dharani can achieve 80,000 auspicious things and eliminate 80,000 unlucky things.

And if everyone and groups gather together to practice and recite the Sutra of the Great Peacock Ming King, its power to reverse the disasters of heaven and earth and change the great common deeds is quite amazing;

If people and groups gather together to practice and chant together, it will have the power to reverse the disasters of heaven and earth and change the common cause;

If you uphold the mantra, all internal and external poisons, evil spirits and disasters will be eliminated.

Remove internal and external poisons, ward off evil spirits and relieve misfortunes, cure diseases and prolong life, and increase happiness and wisdom,

Everything you ask for can be fulfilled, allowing all living beings to achieve real peace and happiness.

Or this is what the “Peacock King Ritual” says: Swordsmen, famine, drought and epidemics, four hundred and four diseases, worries and fights, and eighty-four thousand ghosts and demons to annoy sentient beings… If this sutra is read according to this method, all disasters will come. be eliminated, and all wishes can be fulfilled at will.

The Medicine Master Method and the Peacock King Method are both great ways to protect the country and eliminate disasters!

Eliminate earthquakes, plagues, wars… and tame all disasters.

This is the wish of the Buddha Mother, the Great Peacock King Ming, and the Medicine Buddha, the Medicine Buddha who removes misfortunes!

Be willing to have all the sentient beings in the ten dharma realms and six realms.

Promise and pray:

May the world always be stable, and may blessings and wisdom be brought to all living beings

All sins and karma will be eliminated, and you will be far away from all suffering and pass away
