Because I donated books, there were a lot of second-hand books around me at that time

At first, I was reluctant to put many of my books into recycling.

Later, a friend introduced me to a second-hand bookstore and an organic bookstore.

This friend is the Keelung cabinet girl.

The Keelung counter sister introduced the boss lady to Yang Da,

But I didn’t expect that the cause and effect would begin

When the station is on Gongliao Old Street,

Many people may not like the damp smell of old streets;

But now the boss lady likes it as soon as she gets out of the car!

It feels like time has been pressed on the pause button, and it feels very suitable for rest and practice;

Lots of time to talk, think, and dream!

You can think about the past, present and future!

At the beginning, I stayed at the Organic Academy in Gongliao Old Street. I just wanted to have a good rest and enjoy reading. But Yang Da said that there must be business activities, so he started selling coffee, thinking: If it can’t be sold, it’s okay. Make it for yourself~ At first there was only one person in the bookstore

I remember when I first came to Gongliao Old Street, I didn’t know how to get there by bike. I took the train from Sijiao Pavilion to Gongliao almost every day

Even if the weather is cold and rainy in winter;

I will also go to Gongliao happily without any trouble and forgetting the hard work.

The long journey is not an excuse for not wanting to come,

Later I tried to go there by bike, but I took the wrong route on the way back and went to Shifen. It took me almost 2 hours to get home!

Later, Karma moved to the current location of Yupuding,

In fact, the proprietress opened a coffee shop in Keelung many years ago.

The original intention of opening a coffee shop was to provide some art courses to children!

The boss lady actually studied painting when she was a student in her early years, but her style was realistic;

But later when I came to Lao Cai, I loved painting and creating, and my painting style became more and more abstract!

This is because the emotions need to be released but cannot be depicted.

Painting creation brings a sense of accomplishment and joy,

Later, the actual results were painted on signboards and ecological guide maps.

I didn’t expect that the paintings displayed in the store would also be purchased by customers who came to the coffee shop.

What makes me happy and impressed is that my paintings can heal others!

Now it turns out that you can heal others through painting!

What’s even more gratifying is that you can encourage your children to realize what you want in your heart through your own practical actions, such as opening a studio in Gongliao to sell coffee, making friends, engaging in artistic creation, etc. If you want to, take the first step bravely, and then the second step will follow, and then the third step, the fourth step…

Why did you go to study horticulture later?

Because more people can be healed through plants.

You can learn more knowledge and wisdom to heal yourself and others!

When I opened a coffee shop in Keelung in the early days, I hoped to bring art courses and knowledge to children. I also really wanted to help some NGOs, such as Family Support or Greenpeace.

Later I came to Gongliao Old Street and happily discovered that painting can heal others,

In recent years, I have taken classes to learn a lot about the natural healing knowledge of plants;

I believe that the original intention, process and learning in this life process will definitely bear beautiful fruits in the future!

I hope to do more things that benefit society in the future.

Thank you for coming to Gongliao Old Street. I still remember that I was not very good at speaking Taiwanese at the time; Taiwanese is mostly spoken on the old street.

What impresses and moves me most is the warmth of human kindness,

My heart is warmed by the help and visits in the streets and alleys of the old street, giving small things and food to the proprietress;

At the other end of the old street, there is Dr. Zhang who is also very caring.
