“A lay practitioner named Ye, who was engaged in the practice of cinnamomum camphora, suddenly suffered a stroke and was hospitalized a few days later after bidding on two pieces of 500-year-old cinnamomum tree heads. Because he had become acquainted with the pharmacist method, he entrusted a place in Hualien to specialize in the medicine method. Layman Liu of the Taoist temple sincerely prays for medicineMaster Buddha asked for a shackle to inquire about good or bad luck. Judging from Qiu’s poem, he should have offended the mountain god. After Jushi Liu explained the contents of the poems he had obtained to Jushi Ye, Jushi Ye wondered whether it had something to do with the old tree head. So he once again entrusted layman Liu to ask the Medicine Buddha for instructions by throwing a cup: whether his stroke was related to the old tree head, and he got a Holy Grail. Ask again if it can be resolved, and get another Holy Grail. Then he asked about various ways to resolve it: such as giving alms, releasing animals, chanting sutras, etc., which are all Yin cups. Finally, he asked if he could carve the tree head into a Buddha statue to resolve the problem, and then he got a Holy Grail. Layman Liu informed Layman Ye of the result of his request to Medicine Master Buddha, and Layman Ye readily agreed to carve the tree head into a Buddha statue, but did not decide which Buddha to carve.
That same night, layman Liu saw a standing Buddha statue in his sleep. At first I thought it was Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, but after a closer look, I saw that the right hand was holding a tin staff, but the left hand was not holding a pearl, but an alms bowl. Looking at the head, there was a bun on top. I was very confused in my heart, is this the Medicine Buddha? But I have never seen a standing statue of a pharmacist. So I woke up early the next morning and checked on the Internet. I found that such a statue of a pharmacist appeared in the Tang Dynasty and is still preserved in the Dunhuang Grottoes.
The doubts in his mind were cleared, and he asked the Medicine Buddha again: if he could carve the Medicine Buddha into a standing posture on the head of an old tree, he would indeed get a Holy Grail; Layman Liu once again told the truth about the causes and conditions in the dream. So Master Ye vowed to carve the head of the old tree into a standing Medicine Buddha after his health improved. However, the plan never kept up with the changes, and the reasons for carving the standing Medicine Buddha were never met.
Despite this, the reason why this standing Medicine Buddha statue appeared in the world did not end there. Four years later, during a group practice in this monastery specializing in the Medicine Master practice, layman Liu saw the standing Medicine Buddha again. At the same time, another layman Yangcheng also saw it during the group practice. Just after the group practice, the famous local calligrapher Lin Yueying in Hualien suddenly paid a visit and brought a lotus friend with her, asking Layman Liu to take them to visit the famous sculptor Wei Yongxian.
Liu Shi was startled. Putting the relationship between the Buddha statue and the sculptor together, could it be that the cause and relationship for the achievement of the standing Medicine Master Buddha was in our Taoist temple?
For this reason, many lay practitioners who support this Medicine Master group jointly decided to reshape this standing Medicine Buddha.
We say “remodeled” because this standing posture appeared in the Tang Dynasty, more than a thousand years ago. Now that it has reappeared in the world, it has incredible causes. ”

What is incredible is that there is really a shop selling pagodas on Linsen Road. 10 of them happened to be 68 yuan. Later, Brother Xu decided to take these ten pagodas back and write the names of the Buddhas of the Ten Directions. He wrote his thinker’s verses about the Buddhas of the Ten Directions and the Yakshas. There should be twelve branches. He A friend suddenly came to him and said, “I have a lot at home, do you want it?”, and it turned out that there were exactly 12. Senior Brother Xu thought it was incredible. The divine power of Samantabhadra’s vows manifests himself before all Tathagata, and he reappears in the earthly body, paying homage to the earthly Buddha again and again.
There are countless Buddhas in one mote of dust, and in the gatherings of Bodhisattvas everywhere, the same is true for the endless dust in the Dharma Realm. I firmly believe that all Buddhas are filled with it.
Each one uses all the sounds in the ocean to spread out endless wonderful words, which will last for all the kalpas to come, praising the Buddha’s profound merits and virtues.
With the most excellent flower garlands, instruments, incense, and umbrella canopies, such as the most excellent ornaments, I offer them to the Tathagata.
The best clothes are the best incense. Burning incense and candles are the best. They are all like wonderful gatherings. I offer them all to the Tathagata.
With my vast and supreme understanding, I firmly believe that all the Buddhas of the three generations have made universal offerings to the Tathagata with the power of Universal Worthy Actions and Vows.
All the evil deeds I have done in the past were all caused by beginningless greed, anger, and ignorance, arising from my body, speech, and mind. I now repent of all of them.
All sentient beings in the ten directions, both learned and unlearned in the two vehicles, all Tathagatas and Bodhisattvas, will rejoice in all their merits.
All the worldly lamps in the ten directions, those who first achieved Bodhi, I now urge you to turn to the supreme wonderful wheel of Dharma.

Let’s make an appointment to lay flowers in front of the Medicine Buddha. On the evening of 11/11, we will go up to the mountain and hold the flowers in our hands. We will go to the Medicine Buddha to offer the flowers. The heart-to-heart seal will illuminate the entire Dharma Realm. We pray that the Medicine Master’s wishing sea and glazed light will bless all diseases and sufferings and protect the country. Disaster, peace in the world!
