Snow Mountain Wuling Road Past and Present (1)

I still remember when I was a student, I traveled all over the place on a motorcycle. I was so happy when I saw the words “Wuling Shengjing” along Provincial Highway 7A, crossing mountains and ridges and passing Siyuan Yakou! It was as if I had arrived at the Peach Blossom Spring.

After passing the toll gate of Wuling Farm, you can see the words “Wuling Shengjing” written on the cliff, which is very impressive!

“Fishing boats follow the water and love the spring in the mountains. Peach blossoms on both sides of the river surround the ancient ferry. Sitting and watching the mangroves does not seem far away. Walking along the clear stream, no one is seen.” 》”Taoyuan Xing” by Wang Wei, a poet of the Great Tang Dynasty, describes the feelings of accidentally entering the Taoyuan in Wuling, where all four seasons are beautiful.

When I arrived at Wuling Farm on Highway 7A on the Central Cross-Island Highway-Yilan Branch Line, I had the same feeling as the poet!

There are fewer flower species in Wuling in July, but by the end of August, many flower species will bloom in Wuling. It doesn’t necessarily have to be crowded in February and March!

The area from Wuling Farm to the upper reaches of the Snow Mountain Range has been the home of the Atayal people for thousands of years. The Lanyang River has Nanshan and Four Seasons, the Dajia River has Jiayang and Zhijiayang, and the river basins on both sides of the Snow Mountain to Dajian Mountain are the hunting areas of the Atayal people, and are also the climbing entrances to the Snow Mountain and the Four Beauties of Wuling.
