I’ve known the owner of SLOW Café for almost 10 years, since I was a little kid;
Later, countless times when I passed through Sungai, I would make a special detour to get a cup of lemon coffee before leaving!
It’s like a truck driver carrying betel nuts on the road.

A very quiet coffee shop, just like its name, Slow.
On the surface, it’s a coffee shop;
but the owner has poured all his heart and soul into renovating a dilapidated old house, giving it a blend of antiquity and heart (innovation).
There’s a kendo practice area, an environment for experiencing coffee and tea; and much more that defies definition;
Coming here is like entering a protected place, like stepping into a paradise, like arriving in Kyoto!
Located at Sungai Station, where two streams converge, Si-Lu Cafe is an old red-brick house. The original owner was likely a wealthy mining family in Sungai at the time.
Stepping inside reveals a powerful energy field, unlike typical cafes; stepping inside, you just want to find peace and quiet!
Teacher Wu, a kendo instructor, is also the owner of a coffee shop. He wants customers to come here without any pressure and enjoy a variety of coffees or teas. The owner probably wants customers to have a more enjoyable experience, forgetting about time and stress.
The plan is to create a beautiful place to experience the beauty of Chinese culture.
This is not just a guesthouse,
but a very special energy field; it will even host some wonderful mind-body experience activities.
The key is that Teacher Wu will manage this place, because he is proficient in both tea ceremony and kendo.
I highly recommend coming; come often when you have time;

The peonies and Shuangxi Town in New Taipei City are incredibly beautiful; I suggest staying for a slow-paced one or two nights before leaving!

During my final countdown tour of the Renerslou Coffee Base,
I revisited it with an old high school friend,
and was unintentionally drawn to a framed calligraphy piece,
which I later discovered was the work of Teacher Wang from Dejian Academy.
Introduction to Teacher Wang of Dejian Academy:
Let the winds blow from east, west, north, or south, this leaky room is only fragrant with my virtue;
Virtue and the Way are blessed by Heaven, the Middle Way returns to its original home,

Virtue and the Way are the main axis and core of the I Ching.

The Way is not far from man, virtue resides in the heart.
With a sense of purpose and a fulfilling life, we have arrived at the Middle Way;
